Charity Picnic in Stajnia Chojnow, Poland - 9 September 2006

On Saturday, 9 September 2006 we organised a fundraising Picnic in Stajnia Chojnów near Warsaw. The picnic boasted a wide range of attractions, including a golf driving range, horse riding lessons, and art classes for our youngest guests, who were watched over by our wonderful volunteers dressed in fabulous butterfly costumes. We also held an auction for which our sponsors had generously donated prizes. London Excursion August 2006

The Foundation also sponsored a five-day trip to London to three of its most successful and dedicated pupils. On the 17th of August, 2006 these three top students, together with their teacher Leslaw Kawalec, set out to explore London. The group also met with some local members of the Foundation – Poles living and working in London who shared with the students their experiences and life stories.

Bike trips July 2006

Our teachers not only help kids master the English language but also organise for them various outings and athletic activities. For example, Leslaw Kawalec took several of our pupils on various bike excursions around the picturesque Mazury Lake District. In early July the group made trips from Pozezdrze to Harsz, Ogonków and Węgorzewo, as well as Kętrzyn. During the second half of July more trips were made, from Kruklanki to Żabinka, Przerwanki and Jakunówko.

Charity Banquet April 2006, Polish Embassy in London

On April 21st, 2006 the Foundation organised a fantastic fundraising banquet in the Polish Embassy in London. The event was in the works for months; we were especially concerned to draw individuals who would support our cause not just by purchasing the ticket to the banquet, but also be interested in being involved in our organisation in the long-term. ... read more.
